Festa da Capoeira is Ginga Mundo Oakland's annual Capoeira Batizado & Troca de Cordas event. Hosted by Formado Chipa and his students, our Festa de Capoeira features capoeira workshops and rodas led by Ginga Mundo Founder Mestre Sabiá and other visiting guests.
On October 4th, we will have our kid’s batizado & troca de cordas event to initiate new students and promote continuing students.
Event registration is now open -- Please sign up as soon as possible to help us cover event costs, such as special guest airfare, lodging, event supplies, student t-shirts, cordas (belts) and other budget items.
